The BHRC sends today, 21 August 2013, a public letter to express concern at the recent rejection on 14th August 2013 by the Supreme Court of India of the review petition by Professor Bhullar against his sentence of capital punishment. Reports suggest that his execution now is imminent and may be carried out this week....

The BHRC writes to Prime Minister of Cameroon, Mr. Philemon YANG, concerning charges that recently have been brought against members of the Mbororo Social and Cultural Development Association (MBOSCUDA), an organisation which promotes the rights of the minority Mbororo pastoralists in Cameroon.
