The Bar Human Rights Committee of England & Wales invites you to an exclusive free screening of “Sea Sorrow”, a new film about Europe’s refugee crisis, directed by Vanessa Redgrave.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Vanessa Redgrave, Lord Alfred Dubs, and Stephen Cragg QC, co-author of BHRC’s recent report on the policing and legal representation within migrant camps in Calais.
The discussion will be chaired by Kirsty Brimelow QC, Chairwoman of BHRC, and will be followed by a drinks reception.
“This film is a requiem for the thousands of refugees who have died through lack of support & protection. I hope the film may be of some help to the agencies who do their utmost to support the refugees who have survived, most especially to their children”
