Niger Delta Child Rights Watch Project

The Niger Delta Child Rights Watch (NDCRW) project is an initiative by Stepping Stones Nigeria to raise the capacity of Nigerian child rights NGOs to document, investigate and monitor cases of child rights abuse across the Niger Delta, report such cases to the relevant authorities, and secure successful prosecutions of offenders.

Nigeria: Capacity Development of the Child Protection Network

In partnership with UNICEF Nigeria, the BHRC has developed a programme to develop the capacity of the Child Protection Network (CPN) in Nigeria with a focus on building practical skills in human rights monitoring and case management.

The 'CPN' is a community-based child protection mechanism, which exists in over half of Nigeria's 36 states. CPN member organisations carry out monitoring, documentation and reporting of cases regarding child rights abuses. 

Public Interest Case Support Project

What is the PICS project?

The Public Interest Casework Support (PICS) project provides pro bono casework support and assistance for lawyers and human rights organisations in Malawi and Tanzania to enhance the effectiveness of local lawyers through litigation and promote strong human rights precedents in the national and regional courts.
