Please join us for our end-of year event in conversation with journalist and former BBC News China editor Carrie Gracie, kindly hosted by Hausfeld at their offices.

BHRC Chair Schona Jolly QC is delighted to be joined by Carrie Gracie to speak about her thirty year career with the BBC where she has served as China correspondent and Beijing bureau chief, presenter on the BBC News Channel and host of the weekly BBC World Service programme The Interview. Carrie grew up in north-east Scotland and set up a restaurant before completing a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford. She has a degree in Mandarin Chinese and has made many documentaries about China for TV and radio, winning prizes including a Peabody and an Emmy and commentating at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The conversation is followed by further mingling over drinks and canapés until 9pm.
